We are a growing company and seeking a self-starting and motivated individual to join our Honeyland Canada agri-tourism/production team as a Production Helper.

This entry-level position is responsible for production of various beehive productions and facility maintenance.

Responsibilities

  • Handling and bottling of raw materials
  • Labeling, sealing, and boxing of finished products
  • Keeping inventory records and resolving discrepancies
  • Maintaining cleanliness of the production space and other facility spaces
  • Miscellaneous production and maintenance tasks

Requirements and Qualifications

  • High school completion or equivalent
  • Class 5 Driver’s licence with self-transportation to work
  • Capable of handling repetitive tasks
  • Quick to learn and adapt to new tasks
  • Physically able to lift/push/handle 30lbs+

Compensation/Benefits

  • Starting salary of $13-16/hr depending on experience with rapid potential raises based on performance

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented individual to join our marketing team as a Graphic Designer

This associate level position is responsible for graphic design of marketing related content. These include digital content and physical collateral. There is also some additional work in social media management.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the sales and marketing teams to design and edit digital and physical collateral in relation to product lines and the company as a whole
  • Ensure details are consistent and that all work remains on brand and on message
  • Create files and design elements for various uses in the company
  • Work with the marketing team to produce appropriate graphics for email blasts, newsletters, social media posts, and web content
  • Assisting in managing social media content

Requirements

  • Post-Secondary design related degree/diploma or equivalent with portfolio
  • Expert with graphic design software, adobe creative suite in particular

  • Strong organization and communication skills

We are looking for an independent and versatile individual to join our production team as a production assistant.

This part-time position is responsible for providing support to the production manager in various facets of production including product preparation, quality assurance, inventory tracking, and others. A large focus for this job is on body care and craft products.

There are also additional opportunities for this position to lead tours and workshops which changes this to a full-time position rather than a part-time position.

Responsibilities

  • Preparing raw materials for production staff to process
  • Assisting the production manager/R&D in the formulation and production of body care and craft products (i.e. soaps and candles)
  • Ensuring the quality of all products are up to company standards
  • Tracking inventory and resolving inventory discrepancies
  • Leading tours and workshops for the general public

We are a growing company and seeking an outgoing and friendly individual to join our Honeyland Canada agri-tourism team as a Store and Tour Attendant

This position is responsible for the operation of the farm retail store and attending events. This includes providing basic descriptions of the products, processing sales at the register, and attending events with marketing staff. This position is full-time from March-October and part-time from November-February.

Responsibilities

  • Educating customers about our products and services
  • Opening and closing of the retail store and maintaining cleanliness of the facility
  • Operating the cash register and POS system to complete sales
  • Lead guided tours which includes live hive opening (training included)
  • Occasionally attending events with marketing staff

Requirements
